The Scott Valley Bluegrass Festival began in 2004, and was conceived by the local Chamber of Commerce as a way to introduce folks to our beautiful valley and, more importantly, as a scholarship fundraiser for the local valley high school. The Festival is now in its fifth successful year. Bluegrass music, small towns and high mountain scenery are a pretty unbeatable combination.
